1 year and counting
So, Abbi is a year. we had a family birthday party so Abbi could have her cake, then we had a Birthday Party with gifts and friends and everything, then we went to meet Great Grandma Gleim in Nevada. This is a few photos from everything. Miss everyone. Hope Thanksgiving was great.
We are so blessed because we have come so far…last Thanksgiving Abbi was in the NICU struggling to breath, this year she is happy, healthy, and only struggles to get her way. God is so good.

March 18th
Well, things are going well. I am finally off of orientation at the hospital. My official schedule is to work 9a-7p 4 days per week. Thankfully I am able t pick up overtime in all shifts (you know how it is when people are short on nurses). Matt has been going to classes and substitute teaching on my days off and we have had Carrie babysit on Fridays for some help.
Unfortunately, I think we will have to begin with daycare in April because our babysitter’s schedule wont work well and Matt is looking at working more. Hopefully we will only have to use daycare occassionally but we dont know yet. Aunt Kayla came to visit Abbi last week which was great. Abbi had a cold and got her 4 month shots so she wasnt quite so chipper but it was good to have a family visit. Before that, we got to visit Uncle Adam and see his school play in Lexington and Abbi was even awake during Joseph and the Technicolor dream coat without too much fuss.
Abbi’s Nanny (grandma from MS) will come this coming week and stay for Easter, we should have a great time!

CAMERA PROBLEMS
We are having some difficulties with cameras so I can update verbally. We are in Lousiville, Matt has begun classes, Abbi has a nice Babysitter that comes every Friday. Matt has been looking at jobs and even had an interview today. Chrissi is re-adjusting to life in the ER. We love our new house and have even undertaken some home repairs such as the broken shower handle which required 6 trips to lowes to replace and the water being shut off for the entire day. Matt built a pantry for the kitchen which only required 2.5 trips (one was doubled as a trip for shower supplied). And the draining of and fixing of the hot water heater (which required a trip to Lexington….just to get a water hose).
Matt has become quite the Mr. Fix-it. Its great. Now we are expanding the Honey-Do list.
Pray for our camera because it has gone on the crazy cycle and will not take photos any longer…it has been a good friend though.
Sweet Pea loves her new doggie neighbors and likes to chat with them in the yard (through the fence). We look forward to the Stevens visiting in April and are thankful that the Kidds came (with the exception of Mark W) in February. We have gone the last few Sundays to Night and O Baptist Church and have truly enjoyed the people we have met. The Church is going through crown Financial material though and enjoy it but look forward to hearing the sermons after this series is over. Take care and God bless!
